I wanted to let you know I finally had a chance to wear my Moccasins yesterday and after about 1 hr they were broken in and I didn't want to take them off!!

I couldn't believe how comfy they were, it was like I didn't have anything on my feet.

I'm saving up to order another pair!!!

FIT

Your new moccasins should have a smooth, snug fit. Please keep your toes all the way forward and the bottom laces pulled tight. Re-do the laces every couple of hours the first few times you wear them. This will Aseat@ your foot and help during the break-in period. You may feel a seam or two, but these will smooth down with a little wear. Or, you can use a broom handle to gently stretch the places that are tight. This simple technique solves 95% of any problems.

CARE

Wipe off dirt and dust with a damp cloth. We use Meltonian shoe cream to polish, cover scuffs, and keep smooth (top grain) leather moccasins looking new. Follow that with Huberd's Shoe Grease or a high quality mink oil to waterproof and condition the leather. For suede mocs use a suede brush and spray-on conditioner. Shoe Goo can be used as soles show signs of wear, particularly with our belt soles. A little care and conditioning will add a lot of life to your moccasins.

Windwalker Fine Footwear shoes and boots are machine washable. Use cold water, gentle soap, a gentle cycle, perhaps with a load of blue jeans. Allow to air dry in a shady place, never in direct heat. Waterproof/condition twice while they are drying.

REPAIR

With the above care, your mocs should last a good long time, 10 to 20 years is common. Uppers and sole are guaranteed for one year. When a re-sole is needed (before the mid-sole begins to wear) simply return them to us and we will re-sole and refurbish them. For any other problems, please contact us. Leather care products are available from us or shoe repair shops.

ENJOYMENT

Wear your moccasins with or without socks. Shearling inserts are available from us. Your mocs will also accommodate an insole if you so desire. Wear them for dancing, hiking, to the office, and other special occasions. Your pattern is kept on file; for addition pairs contact us anytime.
